In Argentina, it is mandatory for all companies to file their Financial Statements, including the Auditor's Report signed by a CPA and certified by the Professional Board of Economic Sciences of the Autnomous City of Buenos Aires. This obligation is applicable to all companies irrespective of their size. Among others, on a yearly basis the tax authorities demand the filing of the annual Financial Statements, including the Auditor's Report signed by the CPA and legalized by the Professional Board of Economic Sciences of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. The Professional Board of Economic Sciences of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires performs, after the due legalization of the CPA's signature, an exhaustive control regarding the form and contents of the financial statements as well as concerning the CPA's firm structure. Briefly, if a Financial Statement does not obtain the certification label stamped by the Professional Board of Economic Sciences of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, the same is not enforceable or valid before third parties. For the purpose of including the stamp of the "Argentine Forum of External Auditors" in our Auditor's Report, as members of the said Forum, we are compelled to take an active participation by attending meetings, debate groups as well as cooperating with works related to Auditors' regulations.
